Convert the existing garage into a bedroom with wet room. Build a new garage and update the kitchen and utility. New tiled roof replacing exiting flat roof.Retaining walls and lots of ground work. the extension, new roof and the garage. The new bedroom and wet room and extended kitchen with small utility.
Andy and his team are very professional, excellent brickwork and joinery work. Andy explains everything very professionally. Nothing is a problem and his knowledge is first rate. Attention to detail and final finish is great. The sub-contractors he uses are very good and do a excellent job. If you need any work doing he is the man to contact.

Complete refurbish of a downstairs previously rented property, which had been left in very poor condition by tenants. As work progressed, more problems than initially were realised arose, so had to strip out ceilings and replace all wooden lintels.
Andy took walls back to brick, tanked all walls and floors, stripped out damaged patio doors and external windows and rear door.
Plasterboarded and skimmed throughout, fitted new internal and external doors, skirting, window cills and windows, aswell as organising electrics, plumbing, renderer and rubberised roof for kitchen.
All in all,we are extremely happy with the result of the refurb,with the estate agent valuer commenting the the property is "superb throughout and the work has been done to an excellent standard.".

Kitchen conversion, 4 meter bi folding doors installed, walls removed, new concreted flooring,new drainage, downstairs toilet installed. .Superb, excellent, professional, respectful, knowledgeable and trustworthy men. The work which Rated Construction completed was unbelievable, they made our vision come alive and exceeded our expectations. Every detail was discussed with us and they gave us a very realistic time frame and cost. After each day they tidied away and summarised what they'd completed and what was next. New kitchen with structural opening to accommodate French doors.Absolutely first rate from start to finish.
Not only is their workmanship brilliant but the lads were friendly, courteous and reliable at all times. They managed the whole project throughout and have made us a dream kitchen. We would strongly recommend Rated Construction if you are looking for the highest of standards.

Kitchen and dining room made into an open plan space, new back door created and old blocked up. Patio created, wall pointed and every room plastered.
Andy and his team were hard working, punctual and polite.
Andy was very good at listening to what we wanted and delivering just that.
He is a positive and enthusiastic builder and gives options where he can. This was not the first time we used 'Rated Construction' and were pleased with the work both times.

Build two brick pillars, substantial enough to support two hinged electrical gates for vehicle access.
'Rated Construction Ltd' have done a fantastic job. My wife and I are delighted with how the job went.
The brickwork is immaculate and caps are amazing. The working area has been left clean and tidy and throughout the job, RCL had temporary fencing erected, ensuring our property was always secure.

Major changes in removing walls and chimney breast to open up space for wheelchair access, including Kitchen, bathroom, hall and bedroom.
A major renovation and remodelling of house taking about 10 weeks in all. There were some major issues to overcome such as damp & rotten joists under walls and bathrooms and recalculation of some of the steels once the underlying fabric of the building was laid bare.
RC know their jobs and are very good at what they do. They will not take on other work until a job is finished and came up with some good suggestions as work progressed.

Strip out 3pc bathroom suite, bidet and shower. Skim walls, fit panelled ceiling and spotlights as well as fit and plumb new bath, toilet, sink (with full vanity & mirror unit) and walk in shower & 5 rads.
The job was started and finished on schedule. The contractors at all times wore their company attire and were thoroughly professional in all aspects of their work All rubble from job was removed. The finished article has had extremely positive comments from friends and neighbours. All in all a very professional job and a totally satisfied customer. Well done Rated Construction!.
